First Mariners Game of 2012

I was surprised with four tickets to the Mariners game yesterday. So I called up my sister-in-law, Julia, to see if she and her husband, Kendall, wanted to join Joel and me for a night out at the ball park. Kendall wasn't able to come, so instead my nephew Connor was able to attend his first baseball game. He was so giddy with excitement. All the way to the game, he was asking questions, eager to know what to expect and all the rules of the game.
After we picked up our burgers, fries, a couple beers, and a milkshake for Connor, we headed to our seats. Connor was beside himself when he saw how close we were sitting to the field. The game was so exciting he couldn't take his eyes from the field for a second. Although it was bit chilly, the night was fun. Mariners beat the Tigers with a final score of 1-2.
This morning I woke to a message from Connor, "that was so fun.thank's anty jess". I believe the night a hit. (pun intended) :)
